NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK 2024
As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2024 we spoke to the Managing Director and Business Manager of GEM Compliance Training who took on Sofia as an apprentice. Here is what they had to say about the apprenticeship experience and how Sofia became a valuable member of the team:
“Sofia has settled in fantastically; she is always eager, willing to learn and picks things up so quickly, she’s like a sponge, she soaks up the information like you would not believe. Sofia has been here only for 3 months but the way she has responded to the post and the tasks given, it is like she has been part of the team forever. I’m so pleased that Sofia applied for the position with us here at GEM, she’s an absolute asset to GEM and our team.” – Sam, Business Manager.
“As far as we are concerned, Sofia is a model apprentice and we are so lucky to have her on board at GEM Compliance Training. Since Sofia started with her apprenticeship, she has embraced her role, giving such commitment and dedication to her role at GEM but also to her apprenticeship programme at Shipley College. Not only does she implement her duties to a high standard she has made herself central in the team, taking on some important day to day tasks and responsibilities the business needs and managing these using her own initiative. Sofia also is a great team player bringing in such personality and gets on so well with her colleagues at GEM.
