"The Adult Care Level 3 Diploma offered at Shipley College is the recognized qualification for people working in the Health & Social Care sector with some supervisory responsibilities. If you're an experienced care assistant or a senior care worker, this course is perfect for you.

The course covers important topics like safeguarding & protection, communication, duty of care, personal development, equality, and inclusion, among others. You will develop the skills and knowledge required to work in various Health & Social Care settings, and the qualification will enhance your career prospects.

To enrol in this course, you need at least one year of current experience working in Health & Social Care or an existing relevant Level 2 qualification. The assessment is workplace-based, and you're expected to work a minimum of 14 hours per week in the same setting (on a voluntary/paid basis) for the length of the course.

Upon successful completion, you may wish to progress into management or undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. Alternatively, you can enter Higher Education to pursue a Foundation Degree, a Degree or a nursing associates qualification."the same Health & Social Care setting (on a voluntary/paid basis) for a minimum of 14 hours per week, for the length of the course. We, will obtain a reference from your employer prior to you starting the course. After successfully completing this qualification, you may wish to further develop yourself through a range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses or if you progress into management, you may wish to undertake the Leadership for Health & Social Care Level 5 Diploma.
