Paediatric First Aid

At Shipley College, our two-day Paediatric First Aid course is perfect for those who care for babies and children. This Level 3 course meets Ofsted requirements and Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines (2015). You will learn how to provide emergency care for life-threatening conditions, manage illnesses, and handle injuries in children. The course includes a final Multiple Choice Question paper (MCQ) and practical assessments of first aid skills carried out during both days by the trainer.

This course is ideal for anyone appointed as a first aider and working with children. It covers basic life support skills and management of illnesses, as well as minor injuries.
