Shipley College Part Time Adult Courses

Teaching is one of the world’s longest-standing professions - although technology and culture has drastically changed, the fundamental principles and power of education still remains.

Education is one of the five sectors that employs the most Bradford residents, and we therefore provide training qualifications, in association with the University of Huddersfield, as well as short courses that offer a path of progression to a career in Education.

Becoming a teacher, whether it be in adult, child or community education, gives you an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of the people you encounter.

"It has been a supportive process that has allowed me to grow in confidence and be creative as a new teacher. Being able to work whilst studying has helped me apply the knowledge I have learnt in my practice."
