English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Study Programme - Group A

Here at Shipley College we want to make language learning fun!

Our friendly and supportive ESOL teachers will help you to learn English by doing lots of interesting activities like watching short movies, researching on the internet, or creative writing - we want you to enjoy your lessons.

Whether you are new to English or looking to improve your English to get on a course or do a job you want, we will help you to develop your skills and confidence. You will meet other students from different countries across the world and learn about their language and culture, and hopefully make lots of friends!

We provide lessons to improve your Maths, IT and job skills, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in sport, gaming and reading clubs. After ESOL, we have lots of other courses you could do, including Art, Health & Social Care, Media and Sport. Our careers department can give you advice and help you find work experience.

We hope that ESOL at Shipley College will be a big step to helping you achieve your dreams and goals!
