WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE

This course is a comprehensive introduction to Childcare & Education, where you will study all aspects of how children develop. This includes literacy & numeracy skills, play & early learning, keeping children safe, paediatric first aid and more. You will also complete a 400 hour work placement (per year) to give you a practical insight into the industry. Please note, you will need to buy a College polo shirt (approx £14).

Entry requirements
4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English & maths or A full Level 2 at Merit grade or above, with maths and English grades equivalent to those stated above. A clear Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course. Enthusiasm for working with children.
Progression Information
After the course, you can study at college or university at a higher level, or use the skills and experience you have gained to progress further in your career and find employment in the Childcare industry.
