Prince's Trust End of Course Presentation

Students who took part on the 12-week Prince’s Trust programme gathered on Wednesday 18th July at Northcliffe Church to celebrate the end of their course with their friends, families, workplace providers and representatives from Shipley College.

They compiled a presentation of photos and videos from the various projects they had completed including work placements catered to their future goals, an action packed residential and a community project with Veg on the Edge. They also organised fundraising activities for their projects and worked directly with individuals within the local community.

They also spoke about their time on the course and what brought them to it, what they had enjoyed and what their plans are for the future. They were also pleased with the new skills they had developed in team working, leadership, problem solving and employability skills.

The students thanked everyone who had been included in the projects before being presented certificates by Shipley College’s Vice Principal, Julie Kitcheman.

After the presentation, the students had their photos taken and mingled with the guests whilst enjoying refreshments, to answer any questions the audience had about their course.

Well done to all the students who took part in the Prince’s Trust and we wish you well for the future!
