This funding is for you if you're in receipt of the following benefits and actively seeking employment or in work earning less than £23,400 annually (£20,319 annually if not from an eligible regional postcode). 

If you don’t meet the criteria for this funding then, for eligible courses, you may be entitled to the Learner Support Fund if the household income is less than £25,000 (to claim travel or childcare costs the household income threshold is £30,000). Universal Credit: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence from the Universal Credit online system of payment in the last 3 months.

Jobseekers Allowance: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence of your benefit.

Employment and Support Allowance (Work related activity group): You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence of your benefit. .

Not working but claiming eligible benefits and the course would help you get a job: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form.

Employed or self-employed and earning less than £23,400 (£20,319 if not from an eligible regional postcode): You will need to provide a recent wage slip (last three months) or P60 for the recent tax year (2022/23), or a current employment contract, which states gross monthly/annual wages.

Carers Allowance: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence from DWP.
