At Shipley College all learners have access to high-quality impartial careers information, advice and guidance to make decisions about the next step that is right for the student and to aspire to achieve their full potential. The careers programme delivered focuses on progression to learning at the next level and to develop skills, knowledge and experiences for employment.
In particular, in line with the Government's Careers Strategy which applies to learners in Further Education up to and including the age of 18 and 19-25 year olds with a current Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan in place, will receive a careers programme designed to meet the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks.
