WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE

GRIT: Growing Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity

GRIT is designed for young people aged 16-19, currently out of education or work who want a hands-on fresh start.

GRIT is about action, not just sitting at a desk. You will tackle practical outdoor challenges to build confidence, learn how to solve problems, and work as a team. It is the perfect way to build your resilience and get ready for work or life's next step.

Opportunity for Practical, Outside Work

Forget endless theory. GRIT is all about action and a practical view of education. You'll gain crucial, hands-on, physical experience directly on a course, working in an outside environment and mastering essential skills.

Build Skills for Employment and Learning

GRIT is about building more than just foundations—it's about building you. We combine practical site work with dedicated classroom sessions specifically designed to boost your Personal and Social Development.

This essential balance helps you master the employability skills—like effective communication, teamwork, and resilience—that employers demand in any sector.

It’s the perfect mix of hands-on experience and focused self-improvement to build skills for employment and perhaps further learning.

Your Pathway to Success

Over 12 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to earn a number of courses, certificates, and accreditations that will directly support your next steps. GRIT serves as a powerful launchpad, opening doors to further education or securing direct employment. Discover the genuine satisfaction of contributing to the start of significant projects.

You will earn recognised certificates through your practical work, not exams. You will have the opportunity to achieve:

ASDAN Bronze
ASDAN Silver
ASDAN Gold

It’s time to find your GRIT and build a solid base for a thriving career!
