WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE

This course offers an excellent introduction if you are considering a career in floristry and have a passion for flowers, it can also be a great progression from the Level 1 qualification.

You will learn a range of practical techniques includinggift-wrapping, hand-tied bouquets, constructing arrangements, principles of floristry design and retailing. This is an 18 month programme.

To support this, you will need to gain industry experience in a retail florist shop. You are assessed on your practical skills and theory & knowledge and must complete a minimum of 150 hours work placement. After completion of this course you can progress on to the Floristry Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma and/or enter the industry as an employed or self-employed florist.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Floristry Level 1 qualification to enrol on the L2 course, or relevant industry experience.

Please note, you will be expected to purchase your own supply of flowers each week and to adhere to Health & Safety rules. NB we operate a cashless payment system
