Fast-Track Your Future: The Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
Every company needs a heartbeat. That is exactly what a great business administrator is.
While every apprentice job advert looks a bit different, employers are all hunting for the same thing: sharp, adaptable individuals who can step into a workplace, read the room, and make things happen. This program is your VIP pass behind the scenes of how the working world actually functions, giving you a front-row seat to small startups, massive global brands, public sector organisations, and impactful charities.
You won't just be sitting on the sidelines. You will become the person who keeps the gears turning by developing, implementing, maintaining, and constantly improving the vital administrative systems that businesses rely on. Whether you are running a project independently or collaborating with a team, you will build the kind of operational confidence that can't be taught in a standard classroom.
The Launch & Practical Growth:.This is where you dive in. Split between your workplace and Shipley College, you will master everything from digital workplace technologies and project management basics to business behavior, communication, and stakeholder relations. You will build a portfolio of real-world evidence as you go.
What Comes Next? (The Exciting Part)
An apprenticeship isn't just a qualification, it is 18 months of pure, unvarnished workplace experience on your CV. When you finish, you won't just be looking for a job; you will be an experienced professional.
Functional Skills (Maths & English):
Learners aged 16–18: You will be fully supported and encouraged to achieve Level 1 Functional Skills if you haven't already done so.
Learners aged 19+: You have the flexibility to opt out of the functional skills component, provided your employer explicitly agrees. This will be fully discussed and finalised during your sign-up session.
