League Champions

Shipley College's Men's First XI claimed first place in the league with a 5-2 victory away to local rivals Bradford College.

With a record of 10 victories, 1 draw and only 1 defeat all season, the players have worked tirelessly all season, training 3 or 4 times a week and some students committing to travelling long distances to be a part of the team.

Manager Mike Garrod said:

"With a number of the team being moved between the Academy team at Guiseley AFC and the College side from week to week, all the players have been involved in this journey in some capacity and they have all worked tremendously hard and deserve heaps of praise for dedicating themselves to a long and gruelling season. I would also like to thank Paul Hutchinson who has worked on a consultancy basis all season and the staff at Guiseley AFC who we have worked closely and successfully with over the past 4 years."

Congratulations to the team from all at Shipley College!
