Understanding Autism Level 3 Certificate

Do you support people with autism? Develop your understanding of the challenges faced by people with autism and learn how to address the individual’s specific needs. This qualification is ideal whether you're working in statutory, private or voluntary services as the broad range covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas. Therefore, it is advisable that you provide direct support as this will ensure that you have a general understanding but is not essential. As this course requires a good level of English, you will take an assessment during the first class to confirm your place. There is an expectation of self study and completion of homework. Your ability to access these online lessons via the internet and a suitable device such as a laptop, pc or chromebook will ensure you are able to fully access these virtual platforms and will be checked during the enrolment process. Our distance learning courses start on a regular basis and will enhance the knowledge of anyone working in a range of industries, improving their practice and also counting towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

You must be 18 or over to enrol. These courses require a good level of English, are delivered via distance learning and take 6-18 weeks to complete. To succeed, you must be motivated to meet deadlines and produce detailed quality work without supervision.

For the vast majority of learners these courses will be fully funded; the enrolments team will contact you after you have enrolled to confirm your eligibility. There is a £125 cancellation fee if a learner enrols and fails to complete or withdraws - this is to cover administration costs. We may be able to offer extensions if learners are unable to meet the set submission deadlines. Please read the declaration on the enrolment form carefully before signing up.

Please see our Postcode Check to determine if you are in an eligible funding area for this course.
