You learn about subjects related to the Travel, Tourism & Aviation industry including worldwide destinations, customer service, holiday representatives, retail/business travel, handling air passengers, passenger terminal management along with many others that make up the full qualification. Study visits and a residential, which may be both in the UK and overseas, form an integral part of this course and you may be required to contribute towards the cost. You are encouraged to consider fundraising initiatives to help cover these costs. Take advantage of the unique opportunity to go on a week-long work experience opportunity overseas. This first-hand experience shows what it is like to work in a resort by shadowing holiday reps, taking part in planning fun activities and visiting hotels, resorts and airports. In addition, you complete further work experience to give you a vital taste of careers in this industry. You will also be required to provide a basic uniform for assessment sessions.
