On this apprenticeship, you will be responsible for the maintenance, renovation and appearance of sports turf surfaces.
Depending on your employer, you could be working across a range of sports such as athletics, bowls, cricket, football and horse racing, ranging from general park type sports surfaces to first class stadiums.
You will learn how to identify and use the correct materials, tools & equipment for groundskeeping, alongside how to monitor & report findings, environmental and health & safety law and regulations, as well as developing an understanding of different types of surfaces and how to reduce environmental impacts.
