Develop your knowledge of sport and focus on how to help yourself and others improve as athletes. Take part in a range of sports including football, cricket, tennis, basketball and volleyball. Build technical skills and tactical awareness through modules such as practical sport, planning and leading sports activities, organising coaching sessions and tournaments, and the anatomy and physiology of an athlete. Visit a range of sport organisations including the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield and local sports centres.
You will be required to buy recommended College sportswear as well as a football kit, boots and trainers. You are expected to make a contribution to the cost of organised tours or visits relating to the course.
We have a long standing affiliation with Guiseley Academy Football Club. As a student on any of our sport courses, you may have the opportunity to participate in trials for Guiseley Academy. Those who meet the requirements of trials may be offered a place within the Academy alongside their studies.

2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D), to include English. Maths must be at grade 2 (E) or above or A full Level 1 at Pass grade, plus a GCSE grade 3 (D) or above in English.
