This course is aimed at those with some previous sewing experience, who would like to improve their skills further. After starting off with simple tasks you will work on more advanced level techniques such as sewing a curved hem, fitting sleeves and adding a lining into a garment. You will apply these techniques to more challenging projects, with a focus on dressmaking.
Over ten sessions you will learn how to use patterns, cut fabric, and complete a garment. You will develop further confidence in using a sewing machine, gain a strong ability and broad knowledge, giving you the skills to take your sewing practise to the next level.
On enrolment you will be given a materials list. Sewing machines are provided.
