This course gives you a fantastic introduction to working with adults in health & social care settings or working with children.
You will work towards developing your organisational skills and a personal progression plan, working on communication skills for health & social care, and advising others about healthy lifestyles. As part of the course, you will visit a range of health & social care and childcare settings and gain valuable experiences to help you decide the area you would like to specialise working in.
As part of your study programme, you will be introduced to other subjects alongside health & social care, and you will have the chance to gain important qualifications in English, maths and ICT.

2 GCSEs at grade 2 or above in both English & maths however, GCSE grade 3 would be preferable.
You will attend an assessment to find out if this course is right for you. A positive attitude and a keen interest in caring for all ages is ideal. You will be invited to attend a ‘taster’ session to find out more about the course.
