This apprenticeship prepares you for various roles in horticulture, including maintaining landscapes, parks and public gardens.


You will learn to plan, develop and maintain landscaping for gardens, parks and other green spaces. You will learn to cultivate soils, control plant
pests, identify plants and learn the principles of their growth & development. You will also be taught how to use machinery and ways to reduce waste.

Secure an apprenticeship vacancy in your chosen horticulture area. You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths or have recently gained GCSE grades 4 or above in English & maths. You will need to attend an interview to determine if this course is right for you.
