With an emphasis on food and vegetable growing, the Level 2 short course will lead you through analysing your growing area from soil to site, preparing for planting, then sowing and planting skills to get your garden blooming this summer. Assessment is by a series of short practical tests, including written and observational assessments. It can lead to employment in garden, maintenance, landscaping or plant nurseries. Alternatively, you could progress on to the Horticulture Level 2 Diploma course.
