Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Award

Government regulations require a basic level of training for ALL staff who handle food, including part-time and casual staff. This training will meet these requirements and leads to a nationally recognised qualification (Royal Society for Public Health). You develop essential knowledge about how to prepare and store food safely to prevent contamination of food and food poisoning. Assessment is via a multiple choice question paper. Entry requirements: - You must have a good level of written English to enable you to pass this intensive one-day course. You need to pass an initial assessment in English prior to starting the course. When you click on the enquire now button below you will be sent an initial assessment to your email address. You will be asked to write a short letter based on a certain scenario. Once this has been completed you will be sent the enrolment form to enable you to attend the course.You MUST also bring photographic ID OR a bank card and a letter with your address to prove your identity. Please note, this MUST be brought to class on the day of the course, failure to do so will mean that you will be unable to attend the course. Please note, from 4pm-5pm there will be an exam after your teaching session.
