This course can help you gain work-based specialist skills and experience in Environmental Conservation. There are many units of study which will develop your practical and professional skills. Topics include monitoring and maintaining health & safety, maintaining environmental good practice, preparing & conducting field surveys, maintaining equipment & machines, habitat establishment & management, and constructing & maintaining paths and boundaries. You need to be working full or parttime in the industry, in order to gain the practical experience required to complete the course. Assessment is through completion of a portfolio of work, including practical observations and written work.
