Course Description

On this challenging and exciting course, you will gain a diverse range of skills, through multimedia projects that can be used in any creative job. Key topics include graphic design, typography, photography, image manipulation, video productions, green screen filming and animation as well as using Adobe Creative Suite. You will work towards an employer set brief, planning a production piece, managing the process through to completion, while devising creative solutions. This course will also give you valuable transferable skills such as report writing, presenting work, collating research, time management and teamwork.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English & maths. If you do not have grade 4 or above in both subjects, the minimum for the other subject is grade 3.or A full Level 2 at Merit grade or above with maths & English grades equivalent to those stated above. Students with grade 3 in either English or maths will be expected to re-take that subject in Year 1. Demonstrate creative flair at your interview and be highly motivated with a keen interest in graphic design, photography and/or moving image. You will be invited to attend a ‘taster’ session to find out more about the course.
