If you are creative, interested in film, games, television and music, this course is for you. You will develop the skills needed to succeed in this fastpaced and dynamic industry through a combination of research and practical projects.
You will explore areas such as animation, videography, and graphic production using industry-standard software. You will create posters & videos and use social media to promote events in the local area. Previous students have had the opportunity to visit the National Science & Media Museum to see creative media in action and listen to talks from professionals.

2 GCSEs at grade 3, to include English. Maths must be at grade 2 or above or a full Level 1 at Pass grade, plus a GCSE grade 3 or above in English. You will attend an interview and further assessment to check if the course is right for you. In addition, you will need to have a positive attitude and a keen interest in creative media production. You will be invited to attend a ‘taster’ session to find out more about the course.
On successful completion of the course, you could progress to a Creative Digital Media Level 3 course, or other Level 3 courses such as Art & Design, Business or Computing. You could also use the skills and experience you have gained to find employment in the Media industry.
