This course is accreddited by the University of Huddersfield and leads to a professional qualification if you are already teaching in Further, Adult or Higher Education or a range of other training & educational settings outside of the school sector. Please note, the course does not confer Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for those working or intending to work in schools.
Learners enrolled on this course will be University of Huddersfield students, studying their course at Shipley College & attending College on the following dates: 12/09/20, 26/09/20, 10/10/20, 07/11/20, 05/12/20, 09/01/21, 06/02/21, 06/03/21, 20/03/21, 24/04/21, 08/05/21 & 22/05/21.
After the course, it may be possible for people with QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) to obtain work as a qualified teacher in schools, by following a process of professional formation through the Society for Education and Training to gain QTLS status.
