Course Description

Try out different areas such as photography, digital graphics & photo-manipulation, 2D animation, as well as TV and video production. Previous students have had the opportunity to visit the National Science & Media Museum, to see creative media in action and listen to talks from professionals. Throughout your studies, you will gain personal & social development skills to help you on the course and when finding a job. As part of this course, your study programme will introduce you to other subjects alongside Media, and you will have the chance to gain important qualifications in English, maths and ICT.

Entry Requirements

English Grade 2 and maths grade 1 as a minimum. We will complete an assessment to find out which course level is right for you. A positive attitude and a keen interest in the creative industries. You will need to attend an introductory ‘taster’ session before the course starts, to see if it is the right course for you.

Progression Information

After completing your course, you can move on to the Creative Digital Media Production Level 2 course, or other Level 2 qualifications such as Business, Computing or Art. You may also move on to an apprenticeship.
