Awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Level 3

Do you support people who at times lack mental capacity or are interested in finding out more? You will gain the knowledge and understanding required to provide support and care to individuals in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. You also cover the importance of complying with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Code of Practice when working with individuals who may lack mental capacity. As this course requires a good level of English, you will take an assessment during the first class to confirm your place. There is an expectation of self-study and completion of homework. Your ability to access these online lessons via the internet and a suitable device of your choice will be checked during the enrolment process.
