This qualification is suitable if you are thinking about working as a volunteer and provides you with an insight in to the role and an awareness of the personal standards required while volunteering. It is also suitable for anyone who is already in a volunteering role and will enhance both knowledge and skills. In these circumstances, you could use your volunteering role to assist in gathering the evidence required. After the course, you could move on to the Award in Volunteering Level 2 course to develop your skills further.
