An Accounts Assistant is an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate finances within a business. With responsibility for assisting the accounts team with junior duties; depending on the team structure and size of business your tasks may vary and could include basic bookkeeping activities, working with sales & purchase ledgers, running calculations to ensure correct records & payments, as well as the recording of cash & data entry. During the apprenticeship you will be required to pass the AAT level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting. In order to achieve this apprenticeship, you will need to show that you have the knowledge and technique appropriate to this role.
