Accounts Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship

An Accounts Assistant is an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate finances within a business. With responsibility for assisting the accounts team with junior duties; depending on the team structure and size of business your tasks may vary and could include basic bookkeeping activities, working with sales & purchase ledgers, running calculations to ensure correct records & payments, as well as the recording of cash & data entry. During the apprenticeship you will be required to pass the AAT level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting. In order to achieve this apprenticeship, you will need to show that you have the knowledge and technique appropriate to this role.

Secure an Accountancy apprenticeship vacancy. You will need to attend an interview. Grades requirements will be set by the employer, but typically include 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including grade 4 or above in English & maths. You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths.
