AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2 Jan start

This course is a good qualification which forms the foundation of a career in Accounting. It will help if you already have either experience of working in finance or have completed at least one of the Level 1 AAT qualifications.

This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry-level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double-entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting. This internationally recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) the qualification enables those working in accounting or those who looking to pursue accountancy as a career to gain knowledge, practical experience and the all-important certification often sought by employers. There are 5 units of study and gain skills in processing payments; receipts, preparing invoices, completing bank reconciliations and accounting software.

To achieve this qualification, you will need to successfully complete externally examined assessments. All assessments are set and marked by the AAT and are computer-based. It is strongly recommended that you have achieved a Level 2 in English and maths prior to starting the course.

This course is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education using a blended approach. In addition to your in-class and in person Tutor support, you will also have to complete online sessions and assessment.

Please note, AAT membership will also be required. After successful completion of this course, you may be able to progress to the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3.
