WHAT IS TRAIN TO GAIN?

Train to Gain is a government-funded service to employers, at Shipley College. Employers can get access to free and subsidised training for their staff on a wide range of courses. Through Train to Gain at Shipley College your business will recieve: 

• Help to identify the most appropriate qualifications
• A training package tailored to the specific needs of your business.
• A high quality service from a college rated as outstanding for its links with employers by Ofsted.

WHAT CAN SHIPLEY COLLEGE OFFER?

We will help your business identify the most suitable courses for your staff and minimize the cost by accessing a range of funding including free courses.

OUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE INCLUDE;

• Business, bookkeeping and accountancy, management development, customer service and administration.
• Care, childcare, domiciliary care, cleaning and housekeeping.
• IT - from beginners to higher level training in the office software packages, accountancy packages, we also offer courses in maintaining IT hardware.
• IT - new media courses in web-design, desk-top publishing, video and audio production.
• Horticulture - amenity horticulture, sports turf maintenance, pesticides spraying.
• First Aid for the appointed person.
• Basic Skills for adults - literacy and numeracy courses with an adult and business theme.
