Caring for the Future is a West Yorkshire project to improve skills and knowledge within health and social care settings.

Phase 1: 100 skills reviews were carried out within West Yorkshire in small/medium enterprises of 250 employees or less.

These reviews provided the basis of reports for the homes, identifying their training needs.  We were able to identify courses to be offered and/or developed.

Phase 2: To deliver relevant courses to 260 people within West Yorkshire.

Phase 3: To encourage people from under-represented backgrounds into health and social care.
